Yes, good point. It could simply just be that someone is introverted and personally prefer other times to go out of course. I completely agree on you saying that you would rather get to the root of the problem because medication can simply mask the actually problem and dull it temporarily, but that problem still remains. As a mental health nurse in my past, it was always paramount to provide counselling so as to help the person understand and recognize the real problem. Yes, doctors would rather prescribe the tablets because it's simpler for them and, they receive bonus payments from the pharmaceutical companies for promoting them too.
