Why Do People Believe They Are Better By Cheating?

Simply because they believe they won’t get caught out

In complete agreement and support of the HI movement, spear-headed by Victoria Kjos. This short piece has been inspired by a submission that was recently sent to me by a writer (who’s name will remain anonymous) at this stage.

“I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating.”

Sophocles Greek Mythology.

I ask you, ‘would you prefer to fail with honor,’ by writing what your own human imagination lets you write, a short story, or maybe even a fully fledged 150,000 word novel, hoping that it will earn you a small fortune, or perhaps not earning you even a penny?

I certainly know what my answer to this would be.

If I never earned even the price of a cup of coffee from what my own thoughts let me write, I would hail myself as a winner.

Because, to earn any money from letting AI have all the fun, and hard work of writing something that you, the human writer could have done all by yourself, is surely to “win by cheating.”

There’s no logic in letting AI rule the roost.

But, there’s full logic in supporting the HI movement.

AI vs. HI (artificial intelligence vs. human intelligence)

My stance will never change.

What do you think?
