MISLEADING TECH

Who Said That Superior High Tech Was Here to Help

Because you need to know that it’s not valuable to people

Yes, I use image creation software such as CANVA.

Yes, I use CANVA Magic Studio, when I cannot think of designing an image for a story or article, but I always quote the source and credit it as an ‘AI generated image.

But that is as far as I will go when it comes to availing myself of any of it.

I don’t like AI.

It’s as clear and simple as that.

Every story I write, every article I put together is always 100% sourced from what’s inside my head. I always relish the idea of doing good old-fashioned research before I tap away at any computer keys in drafting whatever I choose to write about and will always ensure that where I obtained the research, is always quoted, and credited accurately.

So, when I carried out a typically available AI Detector scan on a poem recently, that I had put together some months ago, I was disgusted to discover that the scan I used displayed that the poem could be 61% AI-generated!

I was outraged.

I was hurt.
