The Shortform has undergone several changes over the length of time that it is has existed on Medium. From a few changes of ownership, to no less than three alterations in publishing times for every writer.

Yet, one thing that has always been at the heart of The Shortform, from myself Jonathan Townend, RMN, and with the help of my friendly, and ever helpful editors, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Yana Bostongirl, Christina, Dr. Preeti Singh, B.R. Shenoy, and Julienne M., has always been to ensure that every single writer is treated with respect, and that their submissions have been handled as swiftly as possible.

Bearing in mind that, while ever that article remains waiting in the submissions queue to be overseen by our beady eyes, then the writer is not earning anything until we come to accept and publish their story.
