Remember the classic tagline from the 1979 science fiction horror film, created by Ridley Scott… Alien?
Well, did the discovery of the blob growing on the outside of the Internation Space Station in October 2023, by Russian Cosmonauts, ever wonder if the Blob had returned, bursting out of the cinemas back from its remake from 1988?
The original film was made back in 1958, this was the one that I recall watching on one its many reruns over the years, long before the film remake of 1988 (seen above, in the You Tube video.)
After making this discovery, Cosmonaut Kononeko was instructed to leave the area immediately after he saw the blob had made its way onto his safety tether. He had to perform a dangerous move while floating in outer space to fix this.
