The problem is that it relaxes people and makes them temporarily forget their problems but, the problem always rears its ugly head again, when the drinker sobers up.

I've been a mental health nurse for 30-years and worked in rehab too. I've seen the damages that people do to themselves, both physically and emotionally, and the adverse effects it has on their friends and families.
