The Latest In Car Tech, Or One More Colossal Nightmare?

My conception for this article comes after the alarming news report that was published in The Mirror (written and published on 6th March 2024) by Tetzlaff-Deas, B., in which was headlined, “M62 terror as police swarm to stop speeding electric car that can’t brake…”

After reading this news report that involved what’s known in the United Kingdom’s Police Force as a TPAC manoeuvre (Tactical Pursuit and Containment) whereby a speeding vehicle is forced to a safe and tactical stop, was needed to bring this event to a close, by using a form of police pursuit stratagem known as Boxing.

Let’s look at exactly what is involved in this action:

Boxing is where several police vehicles position around the pursued vehicle, bringing it to a slow and gradual stop by boxing the target vehicle in on all sides.
