Amen. If I had not been able to accompany my parents to doc appointments, they never would have understood any of their care or treatment. Too many people have no one to help decipher the jargon. Another nurse and I were looking to start a business to go to the appointments with people to decipher, but the amount we could earn would not support the type of business we hoped for. We are still looking for ways to accomplish this.
