Sad to admit this but it’s so true. I was a psychiatric nurse for 32 years, but when I was a child I had Brain Cancer, which left me with a compromised immune system. So, in 2020, COVID hit me like a ton of bricks and put me in hospital for a month.
When I was discharged I was no longer able to work so, came to Medium. I can totally understand this as I am seriously attempting to earn properly, as it’s not fun or enjoyable trying to live off Government disability benefits🥲.
