Rich Get Richer, But Poor Still Means Poor.

What happens when you cannot work anymore…

My article today has been inspired by a great thought-provoking writing by Fred: Almost Famous concerning a past encounter with a homeless person on the streets.

This is the article he wrote below.

His article really got me thinking too about how each one of us thinks about the value of money.

His encounter involved him saying to this homeless person, “I found this money of yours. You’d left it on the ground at your sleeping place”, to which Fred got the startling response of, “I don’t want money”, and continued on his merry way!

Fred: Almost Famous.

When I read this brief encounter, I had to read it a good few times to actually let this unexpected exchange of words sink in. I don’t know about you, but money has sadly been the central crux of our troubled & stigmatizing society ever since the dawn of its introduction.
