Ooh Look What Just Arrived, You Have A Fan!
What do fans do for you and why are they important for your growth, discover here and now
Before you get all excited and start shouting and dancing from the rooftops (well, some do say that it takes all sorts) we need to define just what the hell a fan is I suppose?
So I’m going to have a little fun with this one, I mean, a fan can mean many things can’t it?
So a fan to anyone wherever in the world they are, can mean that:
❔A fan might be an object that keeps you cool on a hot day.
❔ A fan could be a friend who stands over you waving something in front of you to create a current of air across your face.
❔ A fan could be a group of searchers fanning out to cover a larger area.
❔Or put simply, a fan can be nothing more than another person who has taken a liking to your writing work and clapped or left you a positive comment in recognition of it.
Medium’s Help Center states that fans are the, ‘number of unique readers who clapped for this story. Note that each user can clap up to 50 times for a story, but they will be counted as one fan.’
