One Useful, Timely Reminder to Be Kind to Yourself Today

“You owe yourself one hour a day of self-maintenance. It can include reading, writing, yoga, exercise, dancing, meditation, painting, or whatever, but you owe it to yourself. One hour, 1/24 of your day. That is less than 5%. It matters, it really does.”

It is an interesting quote isn’t it, yet it is also something absolutely true, and often ignored, or simply forgotten about too.

We all, at some time or another, fall prey to our bodies telling us to slow done and stop for a while, but how many of us honestly ever listen to what our body is telling us… I mean… really telling us?

You may have heard a friend, a relative, or even a health professional telling you this, at some point or another, through your travels through life.

If you have, then you will probably understand that your physical body is interconnected with your mind too. Take a moment to consider what I am saying here as I offer you this simple example.
