Not Buying Food Here? Then You Can’t Have A Drink Here 😠!

With the current weather alert here in Bournemouth at ‘risk to life,’ due to the extreme high temperatures, it is disgusting to find that on the beach, there is a seasonal rest area that will not let you have any drink, unless you buy a full hot meal first!

Beautiful area to spend those hot days resting on, but did you know you can’t buy any drink without a meal first? Photograph taken by the author.

Everyone across the world today knows all too well that we need food and drink to live on.

Food. Humans needs calories and a variety of nutrients including protein, fat, and carbohydrates everyday to grow, to function, and to repair as needed.

There is no hard and fast ‘rule of thumb’ for how long you can live without food. There’s a lack of scientific research on starvation because it’s now considered unethical to study starvation in human subjects.

Healthline. Medically reviewed by Butler, N. R.D., L.D (written by Silver, N.) dated 29th March 2019.

Following on with this though, Pubmed Central (National Library of Medicine) (NIH) goes on to state that, ‘the body can survive for 8 to 21 days without food.’
