My idea for writing about the effects of guilt (and how to manage it) came about a couple of nights ago, following the extremely reluctant decision to cancel our cross-country hotel booking from Bournemouth (where we have lived for the past fifteen years) to Leeds, following the recent weather disruptions… and as with every damn winter like clockwork, I fell ill too.
