It's really terrible when it takes the finality of death, to make you really start to think.

Her death made me realize a few things. It made me realize that I could die at any time. My mother wasn’t the healthiest person but if not for that accident, she’d likely still be around today. It showed me that I could be gone tomorrow and if I wanted to achieve anything, I needed to get to work.
