According to UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) there are a massive total of 2,397,435,502 children under the age of 18 across the world over, as of 2023.

Yet, that already staggering statistic continues growing with approximately 385,000 babies being born daily.

The World Counts. Impact through Awareness.

I can imagine that this number has increased even as I draft this article…

Looking at this information purely from the angle of a writer, that’s a considerable amount of children’s stories that need to be written, and read every night by parents.

But why the need?

Well, according to Teach Beside Me, ‘… reading a story together presents a precious opportunity for quality time. It’s a chance to forge a cherished moment that your child will carry with them throughout their years.’
