I can relate to this definitely.

When we were younger, we excitedly looked forward to the future. Now, our focus has shifted to the past — sadly, all too often with regrets. About all the things we should have done, but never did.

I can relate to this definitely. There is sadness looking into the past but, there is joy in knowing what you did. Now? It's time to look ahead at what you can still do.
