How to Alter Your Title on Medium

Let me show you how easy it is to do

Just finished that draft, the one you have slaved over for most of the day, and as you are about to hit ‘publish, you ask yourself… “do I like that title / subtitle I’ve written?”

Your inner gremlin suddenly barks back at you, telling you it’s naff.

But here’s the thing, when you change your title and or subtitle to something sounding much better, remember this important piece of advice.

It’s not enough to make those changes simply at the top of the editing screen.

Nope.

You need to also need to correctly format what you have altered too.

Let me show you how you can do this.

First, locate the three dots in the top right corner of your screen, and click them (marked in yellow below)

Second, after clicking those three dots, (known as an ‘ellipsis’) you will notice this next dropdown appear (as below caption shows)
