Evidenced Based Research (EBR)

How do you look at EBR when it comes down to putting an article together. Do you respect yourself and the evidence, or do simply expect readers to believe what you say?

Straight from the rules of medium themselves, they state that, ‘medium is an open platform that exists to share ideas and perspectives from the world’s most insightful writers, thinkers, and storytellers.’

Medium defines plagiarism as any act of taking the words and/or ideas of others and presenting them as original or without proper acknowledgement or permission. This includes directly copying ideas and text (whether entire articles, paragraphs, or sentences), as well as paraphrasing and slight re-writes (often known as “mosaic plagiarism”), and failure to cite sources.

Medium requires that the sources of quoted or paraphrased content potentially included under Fair Use be properly cited within posts.

Seems pretty fair and obvious to me.

However, for some though over the years, many seem to think they are okay to simply write what they want. Which of course, they are correct in doing so but, stick to the rules and guidelines at least.
