“Potty training is proof that the smallest humans can cause the biggest messes.”

Unknown author.

My two year old grandson shouted up the stairs excitedly this morninwhile jumping, up and down on the spot, “Grandad, Grandad, I wee-wee’d in potty!”

His mum shouted up to me that while laughing, her son would not let her empty the contents, and clean it out, until as he shouted, “Grandad, come look,” so of course, I had to do as I was told by my Grandchild, right?

I praised him for his successful debut on his ‘throne,’ and he ran up to me asking, “did I do good Grandad?”Positively replying, he threw his arms round for a cuddle.

Potty training is a mountainous task for any parent, let alone the child going through their rapidly developing physical & social skills.

Giving consistency in letting your toddler know they’ve done well, remains of the upmost importance for those playing a huge and weighty part in a toddler’s life.
