Calcium. It’s Role In Mental Health
Many consider that calcium is beneficial for our bones but, stop and think, how much do you know about calcium and mental health? Well, let me tell you.
Carl Sagan was correct when he wrote these words below, we are surely the stuff of stars, after all, humanity has held a strong fascination for the stars and space for a very long time.
The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of star stuff.
But was he thinking of the benefits of calcium and our mental health when he said it?
Probably not.
