As this is true to a point, the NHS having been set up in 1948 for a 'free care for all,' it is now badly suffering from financial overburdening and now faces a state of transition with some care now being expected to be paid for. I've worked for the NHS and private healthcare in psychiatry for 32-years, until I had to stop working after I caught Covid, many patients paid for the care and services through employer private insurance companies.
